Nashik,Jan.17: Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Sinnar Tehsildar has issued a notice. This notice has been issued to her in connection with tax arrears of 22 thousand rupees for land in Sinnar. Aishwarya owns around 1 hectare 22 R of land in the hilly area of Advadi near Thangaon in Sinnar. Information is coming out that Aishwarya has exhausted one year’s tax of this land.
Along with Aishwarya, notices have been issued to 1200 other property owners for tax arrears. This action has been taken by the revenue department to fulfill the target of tax collection till the end of March.
Sinnar tehsil is expected to generate an annual revenue of 1.11 crores from the property owners. 65 lakhs of which is yet to be recovered. The revenue department has taken this step as it is the goal of recovery by the end of March.
Along with Aishwarya Rai, other defaulters include Bindu Vayu Urja Ltd., Air Control Pvt. Ltd., Metcon India Pvt. Ltd., Chotabhai Jethabhai Patel & Co., Rajasthan Gum Pvt. Ltd., L. B. Kunjir Engineer, ITC Maratha Limited, S. K. Shivraj, Hotle Leela Venture Limited, Kukreja Developer Corporation, Rama Handicraft, OP Enterprises Company Gujarat.
Talking about Aishwarya’s films, her big budget film ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’ hit the screens last year. Mani Ratnam directed this movie. The second part of this film will also be released. Aishwarya will play an important role in this too. The second part will be released on 28 April 2023. PS-2 stars Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Karthi and Jayam Ravi in lead roles.
