Belagavi, December 27: The state BJP will launch two campaigns for 10 days starting January 2. These are “flag atop 50 lakh houses” and “Victory in each booth” campaigns.
Disclosing this to news persons at Suvarna Vidhana Soudha at Belagavi, social welfare minister Kota Srinivas Poojary said these two campaigns are the beginning of series of organisational activities to be taken up at the booth level.
“We always believed that a robust political activity at the booth level will keep the party vibrant at various levels including district and state level,” Poojary added.

The party intends to involve workers of all the morchas at the grassroot level in order to galvanise and gear up the cadre for the Assembly elections.
“BJP is not an action-oriented party. We are active throughout the year by taking up one or the other social service activities. Now that the elections are approaching, we need to undertake organisational activities in a big way,” he explained.

This campaign will take place in all the 58, 156 booths, 1152 Shakti Kendras. A committee has been constituted under the Chairmanship of Poojary to oversee and monitor these activities.
The next phase of the campaign is to carry the developmental activities of both the Union and state governments to the people.
BJP state general secretary Mahesh Tenginkai, party state secretary and MLC Keshava Prasad were present in the press conference.
