Bengaluru, May 13: The counting of votes for the Karnataka Assembly election 2023 has begun across the state. The state had witnessed triangular fight between BJP, Congress and JDS. Early trends show that Congress has an edge over BJP at the moment.
Counting began at 8 AM across 36 centres in the state amid tight security. Police have invoked section 144 to prevent any untoward incident during the counting process.
Most of the exit polls have hinted towards a hung assembly, but a few predicted that Congress may have an opportunity to form the government by crossing the magic figures with a tiny margin.
