Bengaluru, May 3: Even as the ruling BJP was gasping for breath following its inability to attain buoyancy and momentum in the on-going electoral campaign, the Congress party, however, has rushed to the rescue of the BJP by providing it with Oxygen and glucose by committing three blunders.

First, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s “poisonous snake” jibe made the otherwise ‘uninterested’ BJP cadre to become sit up and become strident.

Second, junior Kharge – Priyank Kharge’s – ‘nalaayak beta’ jibe that further made the BJP to become pro-active.

Third and perhaps the most costliest and needless blunder is the Grand Old Party (GoP) announcement to ban Bajrang Dal.

With this needless decision, the Congress has unified the Sangh Pariwar outfits which, otherwise, were working on their individual agenda.

Now, the entire Sangh Pariwar outfits have become one and started working with single-point agenda to prevent Congress from coming to power.

Bajrang Dal, otherwise, was an eccentric fringe of the Hindu organization which never carried credibility and acceptability among the majority Hindus. By invoking its name, the Congress party has unwittingly provided a space to Bajrang Dal in public discourse which, otherwise, was not available.

No less than the Prime Minister Narendra Modi ended his speech at Moodabidri by raising the slogan ‘Jai Bajrang Bali’ thus giving a war-cry for the Hindutva brigade.

Congress party may have to summon and marshall all its acumen, intellectual and organizational strength to counter the growing Hindutva-led campaign by the BJP.

With these needless blunders, the Congress party has provided Oxygen and Glucose to the saffron party, which otherwise, was gasping for breath.
