Bengaluru, May 1: After having tasted success in PayCM campaign – the Congress campaign to showcase BJP government’s 40 percent corruption – the Grand Old Party has now launched CryPM campaign to portray Narendra Modi as “seeking people’s sympathy on emotions”
The social media wing of the Congress party has juxtaposed CM and PM campaign with the hashtag “PayCM – CryPM”
This new idea of CryPM campaign came about after Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi picked up a line from Modi’s speech and said that the PM was taking shelter behind emotions.

Modi, it may be recalled, had said that the Congress has abused him 91 times “with choicest words” but he is undeterred. “The more you throw dirt on me, the more there is going to be lotus,” Modi had said.
However, Priyanka turned the tables against Modi by the sarcastic jibe “CryPM” and said, “The Prime Minister ought to have taken the abuses in sportsman spirit. Instead, he is trying to evoke sympathy and taking shelter behind emotions.”
After this jibe by Priyanka, the Congress party picked up the cue and launched a campaign CryPM. In order to highlight the 40 percent commission of the BJP government, the Grand Old Party has juxtaposed ‘PayCM – CryPM’ campaign.
The saffron party will find it an uphill task to counter this sarcastic campaign.
