Bengaluru, March 9: “I was shocked. I went numb when I read the “insensitive remark and intemperate conduct of Kolar BJP MP S. Muniswamy” Mahila Congress President Pushpa Amaranth has said.
In her exclusive conversation with The Newz Peg, Pushpa said it was most unbecoming on the part of the MP to speak on personal issues of a woman. “How does it matter to him if somebody is sporting bindi or not? In what way he is concerned? Pushpa asked, in an angry tone.
According to Pushpa, it was outrageous on the part of Muniswamy to ask that lady whether her husband is still alive or not. “It is none of his business to ask such a question,” Pushpa said in a fit of rage.

Muniswamy is reported have scolded a lady by name Sujata at Kolar for not sporting bindi. To the utter shock of those who were present, Muniswamy went on to ask that lady whether her husband was still alive or not as she was not sporting bindi.
Pushpa said, “This is the height of bad culture and bad conduct. Muniswamy ought to realise that he is a MP and he cannot afford to speak in an irresponsible manner”
The Mahila Congress President also recalled how BJP President Nalin Kateel had some indecent remark against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi recently.

Pushpa Amarnath said she was appalled by the “stoical silence” maintained by the BJP Mahila Morcha over Muniswamy’s remarks. “The thunderous silence of the BJP Mahila Morcha is eloquent,” Pushpa Amarnath said and signed off.
