Bengaluru, February 24: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Bangalore-Mysore Expressway on March 11.
“The function has been organized at Hanagere Village in Mandya taluk,” a top BJP leader told The Newz Peg here on Friday.

The BJP is all set to utilise this opportunity to consolidate its position in the region.
While the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) will organize the inaugural function, the BJP wants to have an another party-related public meeting very near to the main event.

BJP state vice president B.Y. Vijayendra, who has been given the responsibility of organising the convention of all the morchas in state, is planning to invite the Prime Minister for a party programme.
Modi is scheduled to visit Shimoga and Belagavi on February 27. His visit to Mandya will be third such event in a gap of one fortnight. On February 7th, Modi had inaugurated the Helicopter factory of the HAL at Gubbi in Tumkur district.
