Bengaluru, February 23: The 74th City Civil Court on Thursday directed IPS officer D. Roopa not to make any derogatory statement against IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri.
Rohini Sindhuri had filed a petition in the 74th City Civil Court praying for orders restraining Roopa from making derogatory statements.

Meanwhile, Rohini Sindhuri has issued notice to Roopa and threatened to file a criminal defamation case of Rs One Crore for making malicious and character assassination statements against her.
Rohini has issued the defamation notice through her Advocate C. V. Nagesh here on Thursday.
“All your statements made against me are baseless, malicious, sinister that amounts to character assassination. I am filing a criminal defamation suit against you of Rs One Crore,” Rohini Sindhuri has said in her notice.

Roopa, on her part, has asserted herself that she is fighting this battle in order to save and protect her family.
“We are watching the developments. Each and every statement being made by both the officers are being noted and documented,” Home Minister Araga Jnanendra told The Newz Peg.
