Bengaluru, February 18: On the holy day of Shivarathri, chief minister Basavaraj Bommai received a pat on his back from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for allocating maximum funds for renovation of temples and mutts.
BJP sources told The Newz Peg that RSS leader Mukund called Bommai and complimented him for his gesture of making provision of Rs 1000 crores essentially for renovation of temples and mutts.
“Now, prepare an action plan to implement the project. Our work must be visible on the ground. We are happy with your gesture,” Mukund is said to have told Bommai.

Bommai has allocated Rs 1000 crores to the Department of Muzrai for renovation of temples and mutts. This is unprecedented in the history of the state.
Meanwhile, the RSS has instructed the BJP to prepare a route plan and blue print to strengthen its core ideological Hindutva constituency.
“Shashikala Jolle’s idea to have an exclusive train to Varanasi under Bharat Gaurav Yatra has been well taken by the people according to our feedback. Now you (BJP) must spread the word strongly about the government’s gesture towards temples and mutts,” RSS has told the state BJP leadership.
This gesture on the part of Bommai towards temples and mutts will also help BJP to involve the cadre belonging to RSS-Inspired outfits such as the VHP, Hindu Jagarana Vedike, Bajrang Dal, Durga Vahini, ABVP and the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS).

The workers of these outfits are not the members of BJP and do not work for the party on day-to-day basis.
However, if the RSS appeals to them to work for BJP, they will jump into the campaigning. After the elections, these workers will return to their outfits work.
The state BJP, on it’s part is drawing up an elaborate plan to involve the Sangh pariwar cadre in the election-related work.
