Bengaluru, February 15: BJP supremo B. S. Yediyurappa warned the party workers not to be arrogant while approaching the voters during the elections.
“Arrogance will cost us very badly. We should be humble, polite and gentle when we explain our achievements of both state and Union government,” Yediyurappa said, while addressing the meeting.
The state BJP had organised a one-day workshop to all the 224 prabharis (incharges) of the assembly constituencies here today.

Yediyurappa said he has observed as well as got feedback from different parts of the state about the party workers being arrogant
“It is true that we have the finest leaders in Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. It is also true that our governments both at the Centre and in state have been doing excellent job. But that doesn’t give us right to be rude,” Yediyurappa said, without mincing words.
He called upon the grass-root cadre to submit the performance report card to the people and seek re-election on the basis of positive vote.

Yediyurappa wanted the prabharis to ensure proper coordination with the district and state teams as well as with the Sangh Pariwar organizations.
“You (prabharis) are the brand ambassadors, face and voice of the party at the grassroot level. Make sure your conduct is dignified, your behavior exemplary. There is no room for arrogance,” Yediyurappa added.
