Bengaluru, January 3: KPCC President D. K. Shivakumar on Monday launched a video series that has intricate details of the developmental activities that have taken place in Kanakapura.
“Kanakapura has seen a wholesome development as per my vision and plan. I am presenting this Kanakapura development as a model for the development of Karnataka,” Shivakumar told the media.
The video showcases the I infrastructure development in Kanakapura, well-laid, all-weather roads, people-friendly footpaths, solar power generation, parks, gymnasiums and playgrounds.
“I have given importance to education also by improving the school and college infrastructure including library and neat toilets with running-water facility,” the KPCC Chief explained. Shivakumar is a three-time MLA from Kanakapura.
Explaining his concept of development, Shivakumar said the plan for development must be futuristic and in accordance with the needs of the people.
“When once we understand and realise the people’s needs, then the concept can be planned in a meticulous way with long-range vision,” he added.
Shivakumar plans to take his video series to different parts of Bangalore and the entire state in order to convince the people to vote Congress in the coming Assembly elections for progress and development of the state.
