Bangalore, December 31: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday made it categorically clear that the BJP will contest all the 224 seats on it’s own and return to power with comfortable majority.

With this unambiguous statement, BJP’s “Chanakya” put to rest doubts and speculations about the BJP being soft towards JDS.

Shah declared that the coming assembly elections will be fought between the BJP’s nationalism and the pseudo-secularism of the Congress and JDS.

“We must tell the people to choose BJP which stands for Ram Mandir, scrapping of Article 370 and outrightly reject the Congress and JDS which stands for dynastic and family politics, the Union Home Minister added.

Calling upon the people to discard Congress and JDS for supporting PFI, Amit Shah said the Modi government had taken tough stand against PFI which is a force inimical to peace, communal harmony and democracy.

“PFI believes in violence. It indulged in brutal killings. It is a threat to democracy. We have taken effective steps to arrest the first and second rung leadership of the PFI. This must be told to the people during the campaign,” Amit Shah said.

According to Amit Shah the combination of B. S. Yediyurappa and Basavaraj Bommai has brought Rs 2 lakh crores from the Centre for the development of the state.
