Bangalore, Dec 23: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hold a meeting of Karnataka BJP leaders in the first week of January to evaluate the poll-preparedness of the party.
“The demand for reservation by Panchamsali and Vokkaliga communities will dominate the meeting among other issues” a senior BJP leader told The Newz Peg on Friday on the conditions of anonymity.
Formation of the campaign committee, steering committee, manifesto committee, both committees and Page Pramukhs are other important subjects that Amit Shah will take up pertaining to organisational matters.

Karnataka is an important state where the Congress is showing resurgence. Amit Shah has understood the importance of retaining power in Karnataka and hence the meeting in the first week of January has been fixed.
Amit Shah, who is an expert in the micro and macro management of elections, is likely to give a task to the state leaders to prepare an action plan at the booth level where the party must try to score 51 percent of the total votes in each booth.

“Win the booth to win the constituency is the mantra of Amit Shah. He is likely to lay emphasis on the booth level management during the January meeting,” sources explained.
The meeting will be attended by national party President J.P. Nadda, national general Secretary incharge of Organisation B.L. Santosh, former chief minister B. S. Yediyurappa, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, state BJP President Nalin Kateel and state general Secretary incharge of organisation G.V. Rajesh.
