2nd PU Results announced: DK- Udupi tops the list

Bengaluru, June18: The Department of Pre-University Exams (PUE), Karnataka has declared the class 12 or 2nd Karnataka PUC result. Out of the 6,83,563 students who appeared for the exam, as many as 4,22,966 have passed. The overall pass percentage is 61.88%. This is a huge drop from last year when 100% of students passed. As compared to 2020 too the pass percentage has dropped as 69.20% of students had cleared class 12 exams in Karnataka in 2021.
For regular students, the pass percentage is 67.14% while for private candidates it is 26.75% only. Among repeaters, only 23.295 students could clear the Karnatak PUC 2nd exam. Stream-wise, as many as 48.91% passed arts, 64.97% passed commerce, and 72.53% passed the science stream.
Dakshina Kannada topped the list with 88.01%, and Udupi secured the second spot with 86.38%. Education Minister’s home district Tumakuru is at 28th rank with a 58.59 passing percentage. Chitradurga who finished last has only 49.31 passing percentage.

Nearly 6 lakh students will be getting their class 12 or Pre-University second-year results today, June 18. The Department of Pre-University Exams (PUE), Karnataka will announce the PUC 2nd results at 11 am via a press conference. Shortly after the ceremonial announcement in front of the media, the links to check marks will be activated. Students can check their detailed marks at official websites karnataka.gov.in, karresults.nic.in, sslc.karnataka.gov.in, kseeb.nic.in, and result.bspucpa.com. The print-out of the online result will act as a provisional mark sheet.
