New Delhi, June 16: Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister for Communications, announced that India would have full-fledged 5G services by March 2023.
During an event Viva Technology 2022, Ashwini Vaishnaw said, after the approval of PM Narendra Modi, the Union Communications Department is all set to conduct 5G spectrum auctions. The auction would be concluded by July end, following which the process for the 5G rollout across the nation would begin.
In the auction, the highest bidder and Telecom Service Provided to match the requirement would get the deal, following which solution consultations would start working. The bidders would be given an option to surrender the spectrum after 10 years with no future liabilities concerning balance installments.

The developments in the 5G services in India came after the Prime Minister of India held a Cabinet meeting with the Union Ministers and approved the auction.
Meanwhile, with the 5G service rollout in India, modern technology would advance with high-speed internet for users in urban India.
