Bengaluru: Former Karnataka minister and BJP MLA Aravind Limbavali’s daughter was fined by Bangalore police for rash and negligent driving and breaking traffic rules on the Raj Bhavan Road here on Thursday.
Renuka Limbavali was driving a high-end BMW car with her friends and was overspeeding and taking over a car belonging to a senior police officer in a rash and negligent manner when the high grounds police stopped her.
She shouted threatened and misbehaved with traffic police and even attacked the cameran while he was recording her argument with the police.
She later revealed that she was the daughter of BJP MLA Arvind Limbavali and argued with the police that she was not driving rashly.
However, the police did not budge. When checked, there were a few pending cases against the vehicle.

“At last, She paid a fine of Rs.10,000 and left the spot eventually,” a senior traffic police officer said.

Meanwhile, Commissioner of police C H Pratap Reddy collected information from the traffic police about the incident and has sought a detailed report on it.
Later in the day, Arvind Limbavali said that he would apologize on behalf of her daughter if anyone is hurt.
