Incidents of wild elephants roaming in search of food and water sometimes get electrocuted and get caught in the chaos.
The baby elephant has fallen into the well in Kurinji Nagar area of Kolappalli in last night. causing the mother elephant and other elephants in the crowd to burst with loud noise. Today early morning the public who visited the area saw the baby elephant inside the well and other elephants gathered around it and informed the forest department.
The forest department who have arrived at the spot are chasing the herds of elephants and trying to rescue the baby elephant which has fallen into the well with the help of JCP.
