What is the problem: During the rainy season, there is flooding in the rajakaluve near Gaali Anjaneya temple.
What is the Chief Minister’s instruction:
BBMP Chief Commissioner Tushar Girinath explained to the Chief Minister that the flood can be controlled by constructing another canal parallel to this. A project at an estimated cost of Rs 11.5 crore has been planned for flood control works. The Chief Minister directed to take up this work immediately.
He advised the officials to to take measures to prevent public from dumping of garbage into the Strom water drain .
Time limit to solve the problem: He suggested to complete it within the rainy season.
WARNING: This year the problem should be solved permanently. The CM warned the Chief Engineer that otherwise he would be suspended.
