Bengaluru, Nov. 16: It was not correct on the part of the former chief Minister H.D.Kumaraswamy to mistake the telephone conversation of former Congress MLA Dr Yatindra Siddaramaiah regarding the development of  the schools in the Varuna constituency as the talks for transfer and make baseless charges, said Housing and Minorities Welfare Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan.

In a press statement on Thursday, the minister said the audio recording which had been making rounds was old. The CM Siddaramaiah’s son never spoken about transfer but only regarding the development of the schools in the Varuna constituency. It was not right for Kumaraswamy to use this clipping for political reasons and hurl the charges.  This episode had been brought to the fore to divert the attention of the people from the charges made against him.
Khan said in politics,  charges must be levelled only if they have evidence. Better to stop firing in the air out of frustration. Should Dr Yatindra who is a member of the Varuna constituency Ashraya Committee and KDP meeting,, not talk about the constituency development?
