Bengaluru : Strongly reacting to the JDS MLC B.M.Farooq’s statement that Zameer Ahmed Khan had been a minister in Janata Dal (Secular) and BJP Coalition Government, Housing and Minorities Welfare Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan said that government had been formed on the Common Minimum Program. “I would have quit the JDS if it was an alliance”, Khan added.

He said in the JDS-BJP coalition government, the then Chief Minister H.D.Kumaraswamy had given him the portfolios of Wakf & Haj just for the name-sake. In the Congress Government, out of four times, he had been given the powerful portfolio for three times. This was the difference between Kumaraswamy and the Congress party. The Congress MLC C.M.Ibrahim was inducted into the JDS and made him the State President just for the name-sake. He had been insulted by not informing him about the alliance talks in Delhi or taking him with them for national capital to meet the BJP leaders. Ibrahim was not nominated to the State Legislative Council. Since from the beginning, Kumaraswamy hates the Muslim community, he added.

Zameer Ahmed Khan sought to know Kumaraswamy who is now showing love on Farooq not made him the minister in the coalition government with the Congress Party in 2018. Before the election, Kumaraswamy had announced that if the JDS was voted back to power, the Muslim MLAs would be made deputy chief minister and home minister. Why Faqooq was not made a minister despite three vacancies in the State Cabinet. When the party had the bright chances of winning in the Rajya Sabha polls, Ramaswamy and Kupendra Reddy were made the candidates. But the same party named Farooq as its candidate at the time of losing the election, and blamed the Congress Party for it.
Abolition of quota for Muslims
He said everyone knows well how the BJP dealt with the Muslim community over Hijab and Azaan and Halal issues. “I did not know how Farooq defend the alliance after seeing all these things. The community is watching everything”, he added.
Hundreds of JDS leaders are join the Party during a mega convention
Dissatisfied over BJP-Janata Dal (Secular) ties, hundreds of minority leaders with the secular mindset, belonging to the JDS in Ramanagar, Chennapatna, Hassan, Mandya, and other districts and taluks are in touch and they will be inducted into the party in the mega convention to be held in Palace Grounds in Bengaluru, said Housing and Minorities Welfare Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan.

Former PM, H.D.Deve Gowda has been secular till this day and got social justice from him. He also groomed second-line leadership in that party. Everyone was pained by Deve Gowda’s statement that his son and former CM, H.D. Kumaraswamy was not a secular leader but the Muslims voted for him inevitably. The victory margin had been only 12,000 votes but not only 1.20 lakh votes as stated by Deputy Chief Minister D.K.Shivakumar. They must understand what would have happened if the Muslims had not voted for Kumaraswamy. “I know everything about Kumaraswamy but not about the RSS underwear under his pants”.
