New Delhi: Shri Randeep Singh Surjewala said- Bhartiya Janta Party and its leaders in Karnataka and nationally have lost their mental and political balance both. They are now resorting to abuse, in order to take out their frustration for having been decisively rejected by the people of Karnataka.
The derogatory, the absolutely filthy and dirty statement made by former Home Minister of BJP government in Karnataka, Araga Jnanendra today on the Congress President Shri Mallikarjun Kharge, has crossed all limits of decency. He is saying that Kharge Saheb’s skin is burnt. I want to tell Shri Narendra Modi, Shri J.P. Nadda as also Mr. Araga Jnanendra and his ilk- yes, Kharge Saheb’s skin is burnt by sheer toiling for the poor of this country, by toiling and working for the downtrodden sections of this country and Karnataka, by serving SC, ST, OBC, Minority, Youth, Women, Farmers and the poor.
You are mocking the hard work and dedication of the senior most leader in India in public life, with 60 years of experience in public life, that’s who Shri Mallikarjun Kharge is.
These kind of derogatory, filthy, dirty and despicable statements are being made, and I level allegation with responsibility, at the instance of Shri Narendra Modi and Shri J.P. Nadda for they cannot digest the manner and fashion in which nationally Shri Mallikarjun Kharge is leading the Congress Party from the front and he is leading the charge of united INDIA alliance inside the parliament, holding the government accountable for its atrocities against Manipur, for its loss of control in states like Haryana, for refusing to provide succor against unemployment, against price rise and for propagating the politics of hate.
Shri Kharge Saheb’s pointed and decisive interventions has unnerved Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, so he has unleashed the ilk of Araga Jnanendra, the former Home Minister of Karnataka to use filthy and dirty language. We reject the same.
It’s an insult of not only every senior and seasoned person dedicated to public life in the country, it’s an insult of the poor of this country, it’s an insult of every SC, ST, OBC, minority of this country, it’s an insult of the farmers and farm labourers of this country. We will not take it lying down. We will take it to a conclusion, not only we will take it to people’s court, but, we will use all legal and political means to ensure that Shri J.P. Nadda, Shri Narendra Modi and their cronies like Jnanendra, they publicly apologize for their misdeeds and insulting the poor of this country.
On a question that do you want any type of action against him, Shri Randeep Singh Surjewala said- Please wait, we will move under all appropriate provisions of law, but, more than that, it shows the anti-dalit mindset of the BJP, anti-poor mindset of the BJP, anti-backward mindset of the BJP, anti-farmer and farm labourer mind set of the BJP, anti-worker mindset of the BJP, that’s why, they are abusing Kharge Saheb, because they are unnerved by stoic stance and his decisive defence of the democracy and the constitution put up by him, holding BJP government accountable in Delhi as also the leader
