Bengaluru, Jan. 18: Amidst the COVID-19 scare, the PU Department has announced the tentative timetable for the second pre-university examinations. The exams will be conducted on 14 days, beginning from April 16. The exams for the first PU will be held from March 28 to April 13.

The PU Department has said the practical exams for second PU students will be held from February 2 to March 25, and the preparatory exams will be conducted from March 14 to March 25, while the final exams will be held from April 16 to May 4.

The exam for language question papers will be conducted only for 70 percent of the syllabus, as it was reduced by 30 percent owing to COVID-19. However, the exams for optional subjects will be held for 100 percent syllabus.

April 16 – Saturday – Mathematics, Education, Basic Maths

April 18 – Monday – Political Science, Statistics

April 19 – Tuesday – Information Technology, Retail, Automobile, Health Care, Beauty & Wellness

April 20 – Wednesday – History, Physics

April 21 – Thursday – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Arabic, French

April 22 – Friday – Logic, Business Studies

April 23 – Saturday – Carnatic Music, Hindustani Music, Psychology, Chemistry

April 25 – Monday – Economics

April 26 – Tuesday – Hindi

April 28 – Thursday – Optional Kannada, Accountancy, Geology, Home Science

April 29 – Friday – Kannada

April 30 – Saturday – Sociology, Electronics, Computer Science

May 2 – Monday – Geography, Biology

May 4 – English
