Bengaluru, May 19: Utthishta Bharatha, a socio-cultural organisation will provide free tickets for girls aged between 18 and 25 to watch The Kerala Story movie.
“We want our Hindu and Christian girls to know how they are trapped by Jihadi elements and taken to Arab countries to work as sex slaves. That’s why we have decided to provide free tickets to girls ” Arun Shastry, an activist of Utthishtha Bharatha told The Newz Peg.

The Kerala Story depicts in graphic detail how young girls are lured and mesmerized in order to convert to Islam and later taken to Islamic countries to be made available to ISIS fighters to work as sex slaves.
“Our Hindu and Christian girls need to understand and realise the hidden trap in various machinations adopted by Jihadi elements,” Arun Shastry added.
The Kerala Story movie has become controversial with Hindutva brigade supporting it and secular brigade opposing it. “The Kerala Story movie is a figment of imagination. There is no such thing going on,” says Reema, an activist of Naanu Gowri, an organization working for secular values in the name of slain journalist Gowri Lankesh.

However, Hindutva brigade activist and BJP spokesman Dr Giridhar Upadhyaya asserts that The Kerala Story movie is “true and hard fact” based on real-life incidents.
“Can any one deny the fact that thousands of young girls have vanished from Kerala? Has anything been done to trace them? And when it was found out that they have been smuggled into ISIS camp, these people now deny. This is horrendous,” Dr Upadhyaya explained.

Utthishtha Bharatha has come forward to undertake a campaign to make these young girls watch The Kerala Story so that they realize the dangers involved in falling in the so-called “love” which is no more an innocent and innocuous love but actually a trap.
“We have formed a team of thousands of women and girls who visit colleges, hostels and residences and tell the women and girls about the horror going on in Kerala and persuade them to watch The Kerala Story. That is why we are providing them free tickets,” said Shakunthala, another functionary of Utthishtha Bharatha.
