Bengaluru: Minorities Welfare, Waqf, and Housing Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan said that the record-breaking budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah focuses on the comprehensive development of the state and the welfare of all citizens and described it as a 100% pro-development budget.
He highlighted that the budget has allocated more funds to agriculture, education, rural development, and healthcare, while also emphasizing industry and tourism.
The minister expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for prioritizing education within the budget for the minority community.
The minister also thanked the CM for deciding to complete the construction of 1,80,253 houses under the Slum Development Board, which had been stalled for ten years, and for covering Rs 5 lakh per beneficiary.
