New Delhi, December 27, 2024: Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy today expressed profound grief over the passing of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. In a mark of respect and remembrance, a cabinet meeting was convened to pay heartfelt condolences to the late leader, acknowledging his immense contributions to the nation’s progress and development.
Following the cabinet meeting, Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy visited Dr. Manmohan Singh’s residence to personally pay his respects. He laid a wreath and offered prayers, honoring the former Prime Minister’s legacy as a statesman, economist, and a pillar of India’s democratic values.
The Union Minister said, “Dr. Manmohan Singh’s vision and leadership have left an indelible mark on the country. His service to the nation, both as an economist and as the Prime Minister, will always be remembered with gratitude. We have lost a guiding light, and his absence will be deeply felt.”
The Union Minister extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
