Bengaluru, July 5: Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar today lashed out at Union Minister Kumaraswamy calling him a mad man for making baseless allegations on Muda site allocation.
Speaking to reporters at Vidhana Soudha premises, he said, “Kumaraswamy’s allegations that I have a hand in Muda scam is baseless. He has lost his mental balance and he badly needs treatment.”
Asked about Kumaraswamy’s accusation that ‘D K Shivakumar was coming out with Muda factory after CD factory’, he said, “Some people can’t sleep peacefully or think straight if they don’t take my name.”
Asked about Kumaraswamy’s accusation that the State government had issued an instruction to government officials not to participate in his Janata Darshan programme in Mandya, he said, “Let him conduct Janata Darshan for the people, who is stopping him. Officials follow certain protocols, they know what needs to be done. Can I go to Delhi and use officials in Delhi. I don’t know much about his Janata Darshan programme and I don’t have anything do with it.”
