Bengaluru, November 29 (Karntaka Information): India Post Payments Bank, under Department of Post has signed a MoU with Commissioner of Treasury, State Government of Karnataka to facilitate Digital Life Certificate (DLC) services to pensioners/family pensioners of State Government of Karnataka. Under the MoU, IPPB shall be facilitating DLC services to 5.4 Lakh above State Government of Karnataka pensioners/family pensioners during the mustering period of November 1 st to 30th 2023.
In order to avoid the hassles faced by the pensioners for submitting the Life Certificate in person, “India Post Payments Bank”, functioning under the Department of Posts, has made arrangement to submit the Digital Life Certificate at the doorstep of pensioners.

Pensioners can submit their Digital Life Certificate in a few minutes through
Postman with the details of Aadhaar number, Mobile number, PPO number and
Pensioners bank account along with the pensioners biometric.
India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) was launched nationwide on September 01, 2018. IPPB’s services are available through 1,36,000 Post offices across the country with the customer base of 8 Crore above In Karnataka. IPPB has 31 branches with 9,500 above Postman equipped with Smartphone & biometric devices to facilitate banking services on their daily delivery beat.
Karnataka Government Pensioners/ Family Pensioners are requested to avail this facility by submitting the Digital Life certificate at their nearest post office or through postman at a nominal tariff of Rs.70/- (including GST).
