Guarantee schemes to be launched if the Congress Party comes to power in Telangana: Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan

Hyderabad : The guarantee schemes will be implemented if the Congress Party comes to power in Telangana, said Karnataka Housing and Minorities Welfare Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan.
Speaking after releasing the ‘Minority Declaration’ in the wake of the Assembly polls in Telangana, Khan who is a star campaigner, said here on Thursday that the Congress Party has implemented all the five guarantees promised to the people of Karnataka ahead of the Assembly polls a few months ago.

The people of Telangana wanted the Congress Party to come to power and all the five guarantee schemes would be implemented here also. The people of Telangana are looking for a change and there has been pro-Congress wave in the State as the people were not happy with the KCR government. This time the people wanted to give a chance to the Congress Party 

The Minister said the Congress Party was wanted not only for the development of Telangana but also of the nation. It was the Congress Party that fulfilled the long pending dream of the seperate state for Telangana. The Congress Party was committed to the welfare of the minorities and will provide reservation in jobs and education for them. The CM KCR came to power twice by promising 12 per cent quota for the minorities but did not fulfill the promise. He cheated the minorities twice, he added 
Khan said the Congress Party has promised the protection of the rights of minorities, economic empowerment and protection of the wakf properties. All these things have been mentioned in the Minority declaration. The Congress government would give a monthly pension of Rs 4000 to every senior citizen,  Rs 2500 for each woman, Rs 15,000 for each farmer, Rs 12000 for each agricultural labourer, free bus ride for women, Rs 5 lakh financial assistance to poor to build houses and Rs 500 for each LPG cylinder. 
Former union minister Salman Khurshid, State Congress President Revanth Reddy, AICC Executive Commitee Member Nasir Hussain and former Indian cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin were present.
