CM greets people of the state on Vijayadashami

Mysore, October 24: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah extended his greetings to the people of Karnataka on Vijayadashami and said that he would pray to godess Chamundeshwari for thr welware and prosperity of the state and the people.

He spoke to the media at his residence in Mysore today.

On the occasion of Vijayadashami, Nandi Dhwaja Puja will be performed in the afternoon and then the Ambari procession of Jamboosavari will begin. After the procession reaches Bannimantap, the torchlight parade will continue till 8 pm. Farmers are in distress due to lack of rain and electricity. The CM wished that it would rain in the state and crops grown by farmers are survived
