NewDelhi: An important meeting has been scheduled for tomorrow (20 September, 2023) at the Taj Man Singh Hotel in Delhi to discuss about Cauvery water sharing row, the state’s projects which are waiting for the Union Government’s approval, and drought relief matters.
The union ministers hailing from the state, members of the parliament and members of the Rajya Sabha will be participating in this crucial meeting.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar will be flying to New Delhi this evening to attend the meeting.
Sri TB Jayachandra, Special Representative of the Karnataka government in New Delhi is already in place and has been engaged in preliminary meetings which are being held at the Karnataka Bhavan.
Tomorrow’s meeting with people’s representatives in Delhi
which will be chaired by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has been called because the Prime Minister and all the union ministers would be available given the ongoing special session of the parliament.
