Bhopal, May 9: At least 22 passengers feared dead as the bus falls off a bridge Madhya Pradesh’s Khargone today.
Bus was travelling from Bhopal to Indore when the mishap took place. As many as 50 were travelling in the same bus and emergency services rushed to spot.
CM announces compensation:
Soon after the incident Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced a compensation of ₹ 4 lakh to the families of those who were killed in the accident, ₹ 50,000 each to those who are ‘seriously’ injured and ₹ 25,000 each to people with minor injuries.
He has also promised to bear the costs of treatment of those injured.
