Chickamagalur, April 24: Even as former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy is trying to recover from fever following extensive tour, his party MLC Bhoje Gowda has been asking the people to vote for Congress.
A video purportedly showing Bhoje Gowda sitting in his residence along with hundreds of workers and telling them to vote for Congress has been going viral.
This has shocked the JDS leaders and workers throughout the state.
“I am telling you. All of you vote for Congress this time. We will see later,” Bhoje Gowda is purported to have told the gathering.
JDS workers throughout the state are angry following the exposure of this video and against Bhoje Gowda.

“Our leader Kumaranna and Dodda Gowdru are struggling hard to make the party win. Here is this man Bhoje Gowda asking the people to vote for Congress. This is atrocious,” Manje Gowda, a party worker from Ramanagara said, in front of JDS office.
Another worker, Srinivasa Gowda from Hassan was screaming against Bhoje Gowda in front of state JDS office.
“Kumaranna and Gowdru have fallen sick due to exhaustion following hectic tour. This Bhoje Gowda is working against the party. I demand that this betrayer Bhoje Gowda is thrown out if the party,” Srinivas Gowda explained.
Meanwhile, Kumaraswamy has asked his party leaders in Chickamagalur to find out what exactly Bhoje Gowda and in what context.
JDS sourced told The Newz Peg that an action against Bhoje Gowda is highly unlikely as this was election time.
“Political and electoral prudence demands that nobody should be antagonized especially during election. Whatever that needs to be done, will be done after the elections,” JDS leader said a JDS leader,” sources disclosed.
