PM to cover 5300 Kms in 2 states, 1 UT in 36 hours.

New Delhi, April 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a punishing schedule for himself during the next 36 hours starting Monday.

Modi will commence his journey on Monday to cover seven cities in two states and one Union Territory covering a distance of 5300 Kms to participate in eight official programmes.

This schedule is said to one of the longest-hour, one go visit of the Prime Minister this year within the country.

During this official visit, the Prime Minister will launch projects worth Rs 25,000 crores.

On Monday, Modi will first reach Madhya Pradesh from New Delhi. He will cover a distance of 500 kms from the national capital to Khajuraho in the poll-bound Madhya Pradesh.

Thereafter the Prime Minister is scheduled to reach Rewa to participate in the National Panchayatraj Day programme.

After Rewa, Modi will travel to Kochi in Kerala covering an aerial distance of 1700 kms to take part in the Yuvam conclave.

After an overnight stay in Kochi, the Prime Minister will travel to Thiruvananthapuram covering a distance of 190 kms to flag off Vande Bharat Express. At Kochi, Modi will dedicate Kochi Water Metro, a first of it’s kind in India, connecting 10 islands around Kochi through battery operated electric hybrid boats for seamless connectivity with Kochi city.

After launching several developmental projects in Kerala, Modi will travel to the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman on Tuesday.

The PM is later to reach Silvasssa via Surat coveting a distance of 1570 kms.

At Daman Modi will inaugurate Devika Sea Front and returns to Surat coveting a distance of 110 kms. From Surat the Prime Minister will travel back to Delhi covering a distance of 940 Kms.
