Nashville (USA), March 28: Six people including three children were dead when a gun-wielding woman stormed a private Christian school here and started firing indiscriminately.

The police, who rushed to the spot, shot dead the shooter, a 28-year old woman who, the police said, was armed with pistols and assault rifle.

This tragic incident happened at Prisbitarian Covenant School in the downtown Nashville.

This is the third such incident that has happened in the last one year.

The shooter stormed the school in the morning when the classes were going on. She entered class 6 room and started firing indiscriminately. Three students were dead and two more staff were also killed. The police, who rushed to the spot, killed the shooter.

Probe is on to ascertain the motive behind this carnage.

It may be recalled that last year at Uvalde, Texas, a man shot dead two students in an indiscriminate firing at a school.

In Virginia, a student shot dead a teacher and in Denver a student fired and injured a teacher.
