Bengaluru, March 1: Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa continues to remain in news both in Congress as well as in BJP.

After Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Yediyurappa, KPCC President D. K. Shivakumar and Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah criticized the BJP for insulting the Lingayath strongman
Now, former Home Minister and Congress leader M.B.Patil has jumped into the fray by saying that the BJP will ignore and sideline Yediyurappa after the polls.
This is a clever play on the part of Patil to warn the Lingayath community of the consequences after the polls.

According to Patil, the BJP is forced to bank on Narendra Modi and Amit Shah after insulting Yediyurappa. “All these talks of praising Yediyurappa is to use him in the polls. The BJP is desperate,” Patil added.
M. B. Patil claimed that the BJP high command had received reports of the possible backlash of the Lingayath community after Yediyurappa was removed from the post of Chief Minister.
“Hence, this circus of placating Yediyurappa to garner Lingayath community votes. But after the polls, the BJP will ignore the former Chief Minister,” M.B.Patil added.
