Bengaluru, February 8: Will changing the lines on the palm result in the change in the fortunes for the better?
KPCC President D.K.Shiva Kumar thinks so. An astrologer who is also a numerologist and an expert in palmistry who is put up in South Bangalore advised Shiva Kumar to draw a line (lakeere) vertical that touches the point between the index finger and middle finger in the party’s symbol.
A leader with keen political acumen that Shiva Kumar is, he realised that it was difficult to convince the high command to take up the issue with the Election Commission.
Any change in the symbol will have to be approved by the Election Commission of India. And there is no time left as the elections will be announced anytime.
DKS, the man with innovative ideas, decided to make the slight change in the symbol for his yatra. He asked his poll managers to print the party’s symbol with the additional vertical line from the middle of the palm that runs upto the point between the index finger and middle finger.
DKS’s wants to try this in his campaign yatra – which is, of course not found in Siddaramaiah’s yatra team – and if the party comes to power in Karnataka, then suggest to the party high command to get the change effected by approaching the ECI later after the polls.
It remains to be seen if this additional vertical line in the palm symbol of the Congress will bring good fortunes to the Congress in the April-May elections.
