Bengaluru, February 4: BJP supremo and former chief minister B. S. Yediyurappa on Saturday asserted that no force on this earth can stop BJP from returning to power in Karnataka in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Addressing the special state executive committee of his party, Yediyurappa said that the state government has been doing a good job in terms of developmental activities and the Union government’s performance has been remarkable.
“In this background, the cadre can be all proud of the state and Union governments while seeking votes,” Yediyurappa added.

According to Yediyurappa, two Congress leaders are fighting for the post of Chief Minister but both of them will be thoroughly disappointed.
Yediyurappa called upon the cadre to go to nook and corner of the state and submit the performance card to the people when seeking votes.
“Our criticism of the Congress is justified. But we should come back to power on the basis of our performance. We should seek positive votes,” the former chief minister said.
He suggested to the party leadership to chalk out the campaign in such a way where all the leaders touch one or the other Assembly segment.

“Let there be four or five teams. Let each team be allotted different regions. No assembly segment must be left untouched. I am willing to go to maximum number of constituencies. Don’t bother about my age and health,” Yediyurappa said.
In his view, the atmosphere is conducive for the BJP to return to power with 140 to 150 seats.
