Ahmedabad: December 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday air dashed to Ahmedabad following his mother’s admission to U.N. Mehta Hospital.
Modi drove to the hospital directly from the airport and enquired the well-being of his mother.
“The Prime Minister was with his mother for more than 20 minutes. Later he has a detailed discussion with the doctors treating Heeraben,” said the hospital sources.
Modi was accompanied by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patil and some of his cabinet colleagues. “Senior bureaucrats from the CM’s secretariat were also present,” sources added.
