Bangalore, December 25: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will participate in two events in Mandya district during his one-day visit to the district on Friday.
BJP sources told The Newz Peg that Amit Shah will address a massive conference of milk producers organized by Mandya district Milk Union in the morning.
“Amit Shah, who also holds the portfolio of Cooperation, is expected to interact with a few selected milk producers and farmers on the sidelines of the conference,” a top leader added.
The party has also planned a mammoth conference of workers in the afternoon “somewhere nearer to the venue of morning event”
” We intend to mobilize about three to five lakh workers drawn from three districts – Mandya, Mysore and Chamarajanagar,” sources said.
Amit Shah is also likely to interact with Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa, state President Nalin Kateel and other senior leaders of the party.
