New Delhi, June09: The Delhi executive has requested all departments to change over to e-office utterly by June 30 and directed that the specified infrastructure must be installed in position by June 20 for the well-timed rollout of the AAP dispensation’s formidable undertaking.
As per the circular issued on June 3 by the Department of Information Technology, each department is required to arrange a central document unit, provided with high-speed scanners, computer systems, and web connectivity for scanning of documents for uploading in the e-office.
“All departments must ensure that all infrastructures are in place before June 20, so that the govt can rollout e-office undoubtedly,” Circular stated. In an order issued the last month, the IT department had set June 30 as a deadline for the complete switchover of departments to e-office.
