Bengaluru : AAP State Convener Prithvi Reddy flagged off the 10 day massive signature campaign against road potholes and widespread corruption in road construction works today.
Campaigning in an open vehicle across the city AAP rally is creating awareness and on the first day the procession travelled through Gandhinagar,Malleswaram.Rajajinagar,Chickpet and reached Armugam Circle.

At Majestic near the Railway Station, after garlanding the Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna’s statue,Prithvi Reddy said “city roads are still full of potholes even after spending more than Rs.20,000 crores from state coffers. Due to this innocent people are losing their life and limbs.These pot holes are also responsible for traffic jams. We are now going from door to door, through this ten day signature campaign, to create awareness on the massive scam in road construction works and hope that there will be justice in people’s court” he said.

Mohan Dasari,AAP Begaluru City President spoke next and said “this signature campaign rally will reach every nook and corner of the city, create awareness against the functioning of both the government and BBMP to put pressure on them. If they do not wake up now the people will teach them a lesson in the coming elections. In this regard the novel Pothole Utsav on social media, undertaken few days back, had received very good response and more than 70 court cases have been filed in various police stations against officials and politicians responsible for these potholes. We expect same type of support this time too” he said.
AAP leaders B T Naganna, Suresh Rathore, Jagdeesh Chandra, Usha Mohan, Pallavi Chidambaram, Jagadish Sadam, Ashok Mrutyunjaya, Suhasini and others were present in the campaign.
